This guide to the River Thames has been designed to be as intuitive as possible so does not really need a detailed Help section. Those pages that might require further explanation include context-sensitive help obtained by clicking the (below) then Help; similarly, explanations for various icons are explained by clicking the (below) then Help on relevant pages.
There are two editions of this App:
'River Thames Guide' is self-contained so does not need an Internet connection for the interactive map (but this makes it a big download). Once downloaded this version is quicker to use than the Lite version.
'River Thames Guide Lite' requires an active Internet connection to display the interactive maps so is a much smaller download.
Both versions require an Internet connection for river conditions, river restrictions and weather forecasts
The features and functionality of the two apps are identical apart from the Internet connectivity...
This is version 24.11 for tablet, smartphone, web and laptop
